Old Steine Gardens is an area of outstanding urban beauty located in the heart of Brighton, a few minutes walk away from the busy seafront.
Roughly square in shape, it became part of the main gateway into Brighton in 1296 and contains the Victoria Fountain (1846) landmark, and the Statue of Sir John Cordy Burrows.
For the use of Brighton Japan we have been granted exclusive use of the adjoining bus lane to the North, and the possibility of using the nearby Madeira Drive for our first Japanese car and bike racing.
The site is separated into quadrants and contains full infrastructure, including walkways that will allow the Festival to be self-contained where required. |
